Upon reaching the age of 18 and residing in Germany, users are granted a budget via the KulturPass DE app. This budget can be utilized to secure tickets for various entertainment such as concerts, theater performances, or movies. Additionally, users can access opportunities for museum visits, park excursions, art exhibitions, as well as acquire books, musical instruments, sheet music, and vinyl records.

During the registration process, users can customize their preferences to receive tailored recommendations that align with their specific tastes and interests. The app also allows users to search for particular events and activities. In instances where a suitable option is not found, users can turn to the "Inspire Me" feature for recommendations by KulturPass. Alternatively, users can opt for a spontaneous selection by using the "Feeling Lucky" function to potentially discover entirely new experiences.

Upon identifying a preferred activity or item, users can make reservations through the app. A unique QR code is generated for easy retrieval of reserved items, such as a newfound favorite book. For ticket reservations, users often have the option to redeem their KulturPass code online with the deduction of the purchase amount from their allocated budget.
